WE'RE PRETTY GREAT

SCOTTY ALKINS

OWNER | OPERATOR

Ever since I was a kid I took my bikes, and skateboards apart and fixed, cleaned, and greased them. My dad owned a corner gas station and I worked there as a shop boy, eventually an apprentice, and got my class “A” license. My grandfather was self-employed in real estate, so it’s just in my blood I guess. I learned this trade by doing small jobs on my own bikes, then doing jobs for buddies. After my 23 year job at Kellogg’s was done due to plant closure. I enrolled in the Harley Davidson Factory Technician 15 week program in Fairview Alberta. I am still learning every day!

ALANA CAMPBELL

MANAGER

"I do everything from oil changes, accounting, answering phones and making lunches, I’m Scotty’s right hand woman. I am new to the motorcycle world, but I have a passion. I got my motorcycle license in 2017 and have started learning everything I can from my dad, Scott. We are a small family business and I think we offer something really special to Strathroy and surrounding area that until now you had to travel to London or further to receive. We treat every bike that comes in our doors as if it were our own and being a small business we understand our customers, we can relate to them. I can’t wait to see what the future has for Scotty’s Cycle Shoppe”

JAKE ALKINS

MARKETING

"I like working in the family business. I am not much of a mechanic but I do what I can. I help out with the website, advertising, social media, and anywhere else I can. I don't ride but would love to in the future. I am learning everything I can from helping out my dad and I am excited to see where we go!"
